Grateful!!!

This time I have no pictures to post. I just wanted to take a minute and tell you all how grateful I am.
First of all I have a wonderful family who I could not live without. We are all happy and healthy and loving life. Mason is such a joy to be around and the way he makes me feel could never be replaced. Curt is amazing and I feel like no one could love me more.
Secondly, we have such a strong network of family and friends that always come through in the clutch for us. They do not ask questions, they just say, "We'll be there," or "Yes, I'll do that." Without these people our life would not be what it is. So- thank you to the unnamed- you know who you are...
Lastly, I want to thank God. If he was not in my life, I believe I would not have the healthy happy family that I have. He has blessed Curt and I in so many ways.
Just a happy little grateful post for the day... I have not posted in a few days...

Pictures from ATL... Part II

I could not resist... Curt thought I was silly, but hey...
Daddy driving to the mall
Mommy riding to the mall.
Mason chillin' in the backseat- I am not really sure what he is playing with...
This was so cute. If you look closely, Mason is reaching for Curt's hand. We think he was scared. The train had just taken off and it was making some really loud noises. So we think he was trying to hold Curt's hand. Isn't that so sweet?

Pictures from Atlanta... Part I

Family photo in the Marta (underground train system in ATL)
We ate at the Cheesecake Factory and Mason was asleep throught part of it. He did wake up in time to get a kids plate though...
Mason getting some snuggle time with Daddy after waking up from his nap in the Cheesecake Factory.
Smile.
This is Mason's most new and favorite trick besides saying "bye-bye" and waving...

Mason's Predicaments

Mason seeing what it looks like inside the bag... After this he ripped it to shreds...
Here he is under the table. I tried to get a picture when he thought it was cute, but by this point, he only wanted out. He kept lifting his head only to realize that there was still a table overhead... This made him really MAD!
Conquering the suite case. Before I took this picture he was on top on all fours... It was really cute, but he fell down the side only to become lodged in between the door and the suite case.
Still stuck here..

Sweet Georgia...

Mason and I went to visit Curt in Atlanta this weekend. We had a really good time. Mason was a jewel in the car. He only got fussy right before we got there and he was awesome on the way back too. The only reason I am saying this is because that is a little out of character for him. He is very social baby and likes to see other people all of the time. His car seat is still facing backwards, so this poses a problem when he wants to see me. I hope this is getting better, it sure seemed like it anyways. I will post pictures tomorrow sometime.
We had planned on going to the Aquarium on Saturday, but decided not to when we thought about all of the lines and the people. Maybe we will take Mason next year when he can appreciate it a lot more. We did go to the mall though. It was amazing. I kept dragging Curt to all of these different stores. I think after 4 hours he was pretty tired.
On Sunday we just chilled out. We walked to this snazzy little restaurant and had brunch. It was called F2O (Fresh to Order.) If you have not been to one you are missing out... I had an omelet and it was amazing. To those of you who know me, know that I do not eat eggs. They just looked really great and so I ordered one ( I am so daring...)
Well, that concludes it. Curt and I love Atlanta, maybe we would like to live there someday. It is fun and trendy and still close to home... You never know. Well, I will post the pictures tomorrow.

Nothing is safe anymore.....

Mason has discovered the stairs. I thought at first that his grandmothers secrety taught him, but Oh NO! I looked over and he had climed up the landing, and I thought, "awww, how neet-o." I was so excited that he was climbing stairs... YEAH RIGHT! It wasn't 2 secconds later that he took off up 3 staris without even batting an eye. I was amazed and VERY scared at the same time. Needless to say- it is time to put the gates up. Mason is on the MOVE!

He was always getting into my baskets, and so I decided to put a bunch of his books and movies in them so when he pulled them out and looked at them and chewed on them- it would not matter. He was ripping my magizeens all to shreds. I do not know why I cared- I only read them one time and then put them in the silly baskets.... I guess maybe I want the chance in case I get bored- (like that will ever happen!)

Look at Aunt Tater and Mason. She is so BEautiFul! Maosn absolutely loves her. They have tons of fun together.

Hummmm. What do you think they were doing in this picture? Well, Grandpa was trying to get a good picture and I was behind him making all kinds of silly noises and faces so Mason would smile. You see how well that worked!!!!

A night with Nonnie, Grandpa and Aunt Katie!!!

Mommy and Mason getting back from eating with Nonnie, Grandpa, and Aunt Katie. Yeah, he looks nothing like me.

Mason "cheezin it." He is such a little ham, and so darn cute...

If you look closely, he is not holding on. Both hands are on the spoon- no hands on the table... Yay Mason. This is not the first time he has done this- just the first time caught on camera...

Katie is such a great aunt. Mason is showing her all about his new table. It is a pic nic and has a ton of neet-o stuff on it. He absolutely loves it. I would definately reccomend this gadget to anyone who has a baby learning new things.

Grandpa made it onto the page. Yay! Mason and Grandpa are GREAT pals...

Mobile Mason

Hello all...
To those of you who do not know, Mason is now mobile, and getting into everything. He can definitely not be stopped. I had no idea how FUN and challenging it would be when he finally got on the move. He has explored the whole house and been into everything from dog food (which he thinks is yummy...) to toilet paper. He is so darn cute too. I love to see his face when he finds something that he would like to have and he gets it on his own. It is the most adorable thing. He has been pulling up for about a week and a half now, but the newest thing is crawling up to me and pulling up on my legs and reaching up for me to hold him... LOVE IT!
I cannot wait until Curt can see he will be so proud. So much happens over the course of a week. Curtis will be home on Saturday and leaving again on Sunday. I know he misses us and cannot wait to see all of the progress that Mason has made.
Also, we have been working on pointing- all that has been good for is trying to put his finger up my nose. I guess he thinks that my nostrils look like a great place for a sweet little baby finger. YUCK!
I hope to have some more pictures up here soon. Hang in there- my memory card on the camera is full and I am waiting on Curtis to come home so I can put the pictures on the laptop...
We love you all and hope to see you soon...

Random Advertisments

Ok, so I know there are some random advertisements on the Google ads. I do not get to choose which ones are put up. I just get a premium if you click on them. So- if you think they are shady and you do not want to- it is no big deal. My mom pointed out the "Suggar Daddy" ad. I hope you all have a great day. Remember the more clicks I get the better.

I love this picture. My Dad took it on the playground close to my old house in Tullahoma. This was before he could sit up on his own. Well, I guess there is not much I can say about this one- it speaks for itself. ADORABLE!!!
PS* this is when he was cutting some major teeth- slobber bucket!
Mason and Nonnie always have a great time together.
Grandpa almost never makes it into the pictures.. Poor Grandpa : ( He is always taking the pictures. Hey- someone has to do it!

He went to Steak and Shake with Grandpa and Nonnie. It was a super fun time. Mason loves shakes and crackers... This hat did not last long on his head. It was ripped up in a matter of minutes...

Mason got a new toy this weekend. He loves to eat the rings. We are still working on the stacking... I love this picture, I think it is adorable...

Some pictures from Vacation

This picture was taken in beautiful Sea Side, FL. We love it there. It was the location for the "Truman Show."

ARGH... Scary Mason.

Mommy and Mason tried several times to get it right, we just couldn't... This was the best one out of 5.

This is one of my most favorite pictures from vacation. Curt was putting Mason down for a nap while I was in the shower. I came out and they were crashed out. We had so much fun being together all of the time. Sweet dreams for my sweet boys.

The most amazing day of both of our lives. Mason weighed 6 lbs. 12 oz. and he was 21 1/4 in. long.

Outback

Curt and I went to dinner tonight at Outback. We had a really nice meal. It was great to have an adult conversation and talk about his new job and the stuff that went on during our day. Then this couple came in and sat behind us, they had a sweet little boy. He was a little older than Mason and he was asleep on his Mommy. It was the most adorable sight... We were both missing Mason so bad by now. We cannot wait for him to come home so we can spend the entire weekend snuggling out little bug. He has been saying Mama while he has been away and it is not fare, I have been working so hard on that. He is so stubborn- but in a super cute way.

By the way did I mention that I miss him like crazy!

I think that couple with the cute little baby thought we were "Crazies..."

Mommy's all alone

Curt got a new job with the government. He has to be away from home for several weeks and since he was our main source of childcare, Mason will be staying with some of our family during the week for a few days. Gabby and I are super sad about this. WE ARE ALL ALONE!!! Oh well, it is all for the best. Curt will be safer with his new job- no more street beat...

Did I mention, that I miss Mason terribly.
